| Alice Krige has joined the cast of the HBO series, Deadwood, for its second season. Alice has a recurring guest role as the character Maddie, a former prostitute who has been imported from New York to serve as Madame for a new brothel. The series airs on HBO on Sunday nights at 9pm ET. You can find more info about the series and Alice's role by visiting HBO's Deadwood Web site. I found the cast bio for Alice Krige quite interesting...and familiar. |

| Apparently Alice's role on Deadwood was short-lived, as her character "Maddie" is now dead. She was murdered in last Sunday's Episode 18, "Something Very Expensive." Alice can also be seen in Episodes 13-17: "A Lie Agreed Upon, Part 1 and Part 2;" "New Money;" "Requiem for a Gleet" and "Complications." |
